The craniosacral system, which extends from the bones of the skull and face (cranium) to the tailbone (sacrum), has an inherent rhythm that can be felt throughout the body. Craniosacral Therapy examines membranes and movement of cerebral spinal fluid in the spine to improve functioning of the central nervous system.

The goal of this therapy is to enhance craniosacral and fascial motion to free up restrictions in the body, which reduces accumulated stress, decreases pain and enhances overall health. Because tightening often happens gradually, clients may not be aware of the restrictions taking place in their own bodies until the skeletal, endocrine, muscular and nervous systems are influenced, and translates into pain.

Craniosacral Therapy can also improve resistance to disease, and improve brain and spinal cord function. A properly functioning craniosacral system assists the central nervous system in becoming more relaxed, capable, and resilient for the individual throughout life.
